pre nursery group
Unfortunately due to current funding issues, it will not be possible to run the pre nursery group this year. We hope to re-establish this in the future.
The primary aims of the project are to:
• Encourage and facilitate children to be more independent in their personal and social skills. To do this, children will be given opportunities to make choices and decisions, take part in group activities such as ring games, jabadao & shared reading, taking responsibility to help tidy away, respond to simple instructions and act independently but with adult
support.
• Develop children’s’ ability to communicate and share ideas with others. This will be encouraged through opportunities to take
part in songs & rhymes, signing, role play, movement activities and articulating feelings & ideas through story and co-operative play.
Planning will support and encompass the Every Child Matters
Outcomes and the aspects and components of the Birth to Three
Framework.
Children will be able to experience sand and water play, playdough, role play, construction and small world toys, painting and creative
activities, outdoor play with bikes, slide, tunnel etc, music singing and story time.
Please contact us if you would like to book a place. We do offer places to children going to schools other than Kingsland if we have room.
